Computer Troubleshooters Annual Conference 2016
The Computer Troubleshooters Annual conference was held just outside Oxford at the Oxford Belfry Hotel. We had a good attendance with John Davies, CEO and Jeff Harcourt, COO from CT Global, Enda Folan from CT Ireland.
The first day saw updates from CT Global and the UK, we now have 200 franchises globally. Computer Troubleshooters Tonbridge’s Suzanne Rice gave a talk on marketing from a franchisee’s perspective and as Networking is their best marketing activity a challenge was set for each franchisee to present their ’60 seconds’ and Suzanne would pick the top 3. With most networking groups you usually have 60 seconds to address the other attendees about yourself and your business and this gave the franchisees the opportunity to practise.
Continuum did a presentation on their latest updates, in particular the latest backup and disaster recovery and the news they now have their UK data centre up and running. I am sure your local Computer Troubleshooters will be talking to you about this excellent service. Continuum also awarded Computer Troubleshooters Tonbridge and CT Business Solutions North Manchester with Champagne for the best performance of Computer Troubleshooters using Continuum. Continuum is the managed services software that enables Computer Troubleshooters to look after your computers so well.
A group photo was taken in the rain so rather rushed.
Day 2 saw more ’60 second’ presentations, they unsurprisingly improved with each person’s turn. Ron Douglas presented a new suite tools that we use to fix computers/laptops.
NSN gave a short presentation on what their Voip and broadband systems can provide.
Helen Thompson of the British Franchising Association gave a talk on the benefits the franchisees can get from the BFA when they become members, this was interesting to several franchisees.
The results of the ’60 seconds’ competition were announced and prizes awarded.
A well-attended conference and everyone seemed to enjoy.
