We may have to rethink how we match up a person with a job vacancy, not only has Covid-19 changed the way we work but with continuing development of Ai and more automation by machines and computers, its a trend that seems to be knocking at the door of the way work is seen to be done. Location is no longer a barrier to a job, computers and fast broadband connections allow us to do a lot more from home and some from further away from the companies official premises.
According to this report, middle management seem to be at the most risk but there are a lot of jobs that still will be carried out in person and not a machine or computer.
The traditional ways for Recruitment companies may have to adapt quickly and add a different bow to their strings in the future.
